Like many small communities, Staplehurst relies on their volunteer firefighters. 85% of Nebraska’s Firefighters are volunteers. As turnover of volunteers increases, it is important that we recruit new volunteer emergency responders across the state.

Simulation in Motion-Nebraska (SIM-NE) is a statewide, mobile education system, which brings state-of-the-art, hands-on training, using high fidelity human patient simulators, to pre-hospital and hospital professionals throughout the state.

The Village of Staplehurst Fire Department's mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for all citizens and visitors from the adverse effects of natural and man-made emergencies.

Our goal is to provide a protection program through a cost-efficient approach to emergency response, fire code application and public fire education.
